double page spread analysis
Double page spread analysis
First sight
At first sight the
double page spread looks quite simple with a white background, which therefore
makes the black column boxes and main image more prominent.
Main image
The whole band is
the main image in this particular double page spread mainly there is an
indirect glance which gives a sense of deepness within the article, also
because they are in band uniform making the article more eye catching
throughout the magazine.
Text/Font
The text is mainly
well structured in columns outlined by black this gives the reader
accessibility to read the article more easily. It also keeps in with the house
style of mainly being black and white which signifies passion and danger.
Secondary images
There are no
significant secondary images as the main focus is the article and the leading
image.

is in neat columns which is usual for a magazine design also captions are apparent
